Ambient Interface Design (AID) for the Ergonomically Challenged
نویسندگان
چکیده
· The Ambient Intelligence (Aml) paradigm builds upon „Ubiquitous Computing‟ and human-centric computer interaction design. AmI systems are embedded, contextaware, and can be personalised. v The intention is to provide a synchronisation framework that will provide co-ordinated connectivity across various environmentally distributed devices via sensor data mapping to provide location-independent and application-responsive screening for the personalised user experience.

Ambient Interface Design (AID) for Aging, Independence and Disability
The global proliferation of increasing longevity in modern society has fixed a focus on assisting the elderly and those living with disability through computing technology. To remain independently empowered, a seamless integration through efficient affable interfaces is required. The Ambient Interface Design (AID) system intends to assist with finding personal preferences and also provide a syn...
متن کاملComparison of Different Linear Filter Design Methods for Handling Ocular Artifacts in Brain Computer Interface System
Brain-computer interfaces (BCI) record brain signals, analyze and translate them into control commands which are relayed to output devices that carry out desired actions. These systems do not use normal neuromuscular output pathways. Actually, the principal goal of BCI systems is to provide better life style for physically-challenged people which are suffered from cerebral palsy, amyotrophic l...
متن کاملAmbient Interfaces: Design Challenges and Recommendations
Ambient interfaces go beyond the classical graphical user interface and use the whole environment of the user for the interaction between the user and the system. In this paper we describe the design and implementation of ambient interfaces to facilitate the easy and smooth cooperation and coordination among geographically dispersed team members. We report on results of user involvement in the ...
متن کاملDimensional accommodation of common harvesting combines’ seat with operators’ anthropometric characteristics and Proposition the proper Dimensions Based on Ergonomics Principles
Background and Aim: Agricultural combine harvesters play a crucial role in cereal productions. A combine operator performs almost all harvesting activities in seated posture. As an interface of the biomechanical system of operator’s body and combines’ mechanical system, seat has major effect on operator’s safety, health, and comfort. A successful design of seat is not achievable without conside...
متن کاملDesign and Evaluation of Spatial Multi Interaction Interface
Nowadays interactive displays are capable of offering a great variety of interactions to users thanks to advancement of ubiquitous computing technologies. Although many methods of interactions have been researched, usability of the devices is still limited and they are offered only to a single user at a time. This paper proposes a spatial multi-interaction interface that can provide various int...
